Is he worth a punt? could be a real steal and fill that back up Key Defender.

I'd definitely be interested in him, maybe with 64 in the National Draft.

#9 in the mega draft 2001 = he had a lot talent , I mean thats only one later than Bartel and several earlier than Steve Magic Johnson.

Injuries and Age will bring down any amount of talent. NO. If he was going to make it he would now be inthe Dee's best 22 just like Bartel and Johnson for us

I'd consider drafting him but it would depend a lot on what is left when our last couple of selections come around.
If there was nothing really left i'd be all for drafting him as there is no denying he has talen.

I agree. The last thing we need is another Brent Girgic. Jsut because he played in the area diesnt make him that good. We are going to ditch a Slade type injury prone fringe player and collect another who has the same attributes. Id rather redraft one of our delistings

Yes but Slade isnt a key position defender.

True but both have had a lot of injuries, but if we are going to ditch a Foster who fits that role he would probably have more of a chance...although you are right when you are taking them that late ..or in the Pre season draft it is not really a big gamble.

I'd say both need a fresh start. Foster won't get that at Geelong. Molan would. I still beleive its worth a punt with 64.
