i was down at lygon street with a few friends today and walked past the carlton shop and it got me thinking, is lygon street still 'home' to the carlton football club and all its supporters. i hear many stories of players and fans all going there after games, players getting their hair cut at the barber there etc. however these days i dont really hear of many supporters going there after a match to celebrate(not that there has been much to celebrate over the last few years), nor do i hear stories of players going to lygon street regularly. whats your view, do you still see it as a home to carlton?

the carlton shop is on faraday street, theres your problem. you've got to turn the corner and maybe then you would see some carlton people.

Thanks Pam, i did see the membership department, i suppose i should have asked, at least i know now.

I'm pretty sure I read awhile ago the club is working on bringing Lygon St back to its navy blue glory. The bigger we get and more games we win I'm sure it'll be pumping down there again.

Lygon Street used to be spectacular after we had had a win playing at Princes Park. Alot of supporters got there for a meal, and the place had a great atmosphere. Still a great place to go, but I feel it has lost a bit of the Carlton mystique about the place.
