Had to laugh at the beady eyed lyon going off tap when his integrity was questioned over the Griffen/sandilands charades. Fair dinkum who does he think he's kidding. I would love an AFL official to request an immediate MRI scan to detect if in fact there was an abductor strain, if not RFC be awarded the points. Love to see look on his sillyold face if that phone call came through :confused:
 
This is the man who had no integrity in the way he handled the St.Kilda position. The man is devoid of integrity and the whole league knows it.

Think Hardwick went way over board with the criticism though, but, good to see Lyon flustered.

That's the first time I've seen Lyon angry.

Thought his eyes were going to pop.

If I were a Richmond fan I'd be concerned by the ease with which Lyon out pointed Hardwick again.

Id be more concerned if 16 other sides played in the manner Freo did...lyon has a unique game plan , one that puts a real stranglehold on ours, not something we have encountered too often in 2012

Explain this a little more for me cobber ... no idea what this is about
 
Hardwick definitely got outcoached, though I think his options were somewhat limited due to the state of our list.
 
The guy can be elusive with the truth. I watched him on "on the couch" and there were a couple of little gives when they were asking him about the move to Freo. Still a good coach though. He will get Freo top 4 next year.

Agreed. Ross Lyon talking about integrity is the equivalent of a Parlimentary Ethics Committee. In fact, "Rossy" should do the AFL a favour and take boring gameplan to the soccer pitch where it belongs.

You should be telling us how it is like to support a soulless franchise.

We played against a side that was one of the oldest in the comp, on their own turf, with a shocking gamestyle that we will learn to adapt to as we mature. We were carrying way more passangers than in anyother game this season, so for this franchise to only beat us by 22 points, says a lot about both sides.

As for Lyon, compulsive liar, shady personal life in regards to his finances, so I won't be too worried about what he says.

sandilands was named as an emergency, despite rumours circulating in the morning he was to be a late inclusion, he remained as an EMERG on the team sheets when they were formally submitted an hour or so prior to play. In the warm up, apparently Griffen strained an abductor, so minutes prior to game start sandilands was IN...gee lucky he did the FULL warm up...Dimma laughed in the media conference , said whadya reckon when it was suggested it may have been a ruse...Lyon then goes off tap, looking quite the tool when his integrity was questioned, his eyes darting around like crazy john:confused:

agreed , Lyon raising Integrity card is like Tiger Woods giving a sermon on chaste behaviour;)
 
Regardless of the tactics used, Hardwick really should have just let this one pass. You don't gain any respect or credit from making those sorts of accusations (regardless of whether they are true or not), if anything you lose respect and come across as a bit of a whinger or an excuse maker. Next time I'd rather him not comment too much on it.

Lyon wins the 'Tool of the week' actually, hate watching 'Lyon coached' teams play, good if you are a fremantle supporter and want the win, but boring as, if you are not ...... will never win the ultimate with that game plan, which is a pity because both stkilda 'had' and fremantle 'have' got some very very good footballers

if you study phycology the way he moves his eyes from left to right indicate that he is making stuff up on the spot... and is not convincing i might add .. but we all no the AFL will let it slide and focus on more important stuff like Brother players pushing each other and rowdy fans
