Just curious to see were you think he is at?
Will he be Delisted at the end of the year or is he a Project player?
Has he been getting a kick in the VFL

Project player me thinks. From what I have seen, he is a typical FF, strong lead and mark and not a bad kick.

Hopefully he can get a regular run in the ones next season so we can see where he is REALLY at.

why delist him? He was on the same draft as Bate and Dunn and could prove to be just as good as Dunn as they can play a similar role. Dunn/Newton, if they progress nicely, could be a dynamic forward pairing.

Will definitely be retained. Has loads of ability but Sautner has been keeping him out of the Sandy 1's.
For those who didn't know he won the goalkicking in the Sandy 2's and kicked 12 in their first final if my memory serves me correctly (He did kick 12 in one game I think it was the final).
CAC said he physically had the most potential when he, Dunn and Bate were drafted.
I think he could be our Neita replacement and will be given plenty of time.

The club rates him very highly. Will definitely be at Melbourne next year, if it's up to the club.

I'm not suggesting you are lying, but where did you get the info re: the club rating him very highly?

Yeah i wasnt Implying he should be delisted, I was just unaware of what the word on him was.. I havent seen in the ones much in the VFL and was curious to see were he was at.. He could be quite promising with a bit more beef on him, has a good mark and can jump and a pretty reasonable kick, Do you see him just as a full forward? or do you reckon could fit in comfortably somewere else in the Forward line

I'm not lying.

He is a very gifted player, and the club is thrilled to have picked him up early. He would have gone top 10 in last year's draft.

Having said that, he is a long loooong term option. He isn't even playing with the seniors in the VFL yet. Hopefully he'll be ready for AFL when Neita retires.
