I looked into it, seems to be they are very temperamental and even more so when you are trying to get the iPhone SDK running.
I might play around with one though.

Mobile App Discontinued
Due to a number of factors, support for the current BigFooty mobile app has been discontinued. Your BigFooty login will no longer work on the Tapatalk or the BigFooty App - which is based on Tapatalk.

I might play around with one though.
I've used most of the freeware apps stated above for the PC laptop. Most of them are either available in Mac form for free, already integrated, or aren't needed. Don't miss any of them in the OS X environment.
OS X is quite customisable in a variety of ways. It's not iOS. At least, not yet anyway!
