A really tough decision for Mickey. Helps explain the look on her face when she heard she was drafted to the Pies. Happy, obviously, but she also hugged her kids to her. I hope it works out for her, that she plays (not guaranteed a game of course) and plays well. Wil be watching her closely this AFLW season.

I was at Vic Park on Tuesday arvo and they were doing a camera piece with her with the club in the background. She had the brace on her leg so I thought it might have been a general update. Looks like they didn't publish the clip and her injury sadly ending her season.

And having to leave her kids behind to come to Vic, for a few months a year. Really hard for her. Wish her the best.

Sure is and the Pandemic would of Ended any chance she would Stay.

Honestly I am not Shocked she Retired
