Shouldn't even be happening, according to Lloyd and Tim. Yeah, we got spanked, but it's not like we were raging favourites and took it easy. Sydney just know how to get shit done at this time of year far better than Essendon in 2017.

Getting pretty sick of the ex players telling the new generation what is right and wrong on how to unwind after a season, especially seeing as they all had mad mondays themselves.

Lloyd must have a short memory after the team he captained lost the 2009 elimination by 96 points then got on the piss the following Monday.

Yeah, I find it difficult to imagine Timmy and co didn't have a few cleansing ales the Monday after the 1983 and 1990 pantsings either...
 
Especially when they're apparently teetotal during the season? The standard is higher, the need to relax afterwards is probably also higher.
