Anyone picked this up? A great read. Some parts can be a bit labourous, e.g. "In this game, Maher scored 20 points at 46%, the next weekend the 180-cm Adelaide captain scored 39 points at 67%." etc. but the good far outweighs the bad.
As a naive youngster who attended pretty much every Sixers game 1992-2002, there was some fascinating behind-the-scenes stuff that was just fascinating. There's a couple of tidbits which Crow-mo has discussed here in the past (Brenton and Blakemore), but they were only a small selection of what seemed to be a very combustible backroom throughout the mid-90s - but somehow we were always at least solid on the court.
It's also suprisingly kind to Boy Goorj and Michelle "The Hammer" Timms.
As you'll find in the book, the steadying influence throughout it all was Brett Maher. What a gun.
