Completes a lot of passes apparently. It takes some players a while to adjust to a new league. If he can succeed in Germany, there's no reason why he can't succeed in England.

It's quite obvious he came to United because he wants to win trophies, if it was all about money, he'd be playing for the scum Man $hitty.

He has spent a bit of time on the sidelines, so that hasen't helped but i do remember at the start of the season saying that he was our best player, just the way he drifted in an out and found space. Will take time for him to get back to his best, and there's no doubt he is still adapting to the new league and lifestyle in England.

Didn't he win the Bundesliga player of the season last year?

Reigning champion Man City, which (correct me if I'm wrong) comes with a nice shiny trophy. To be fair you have won a community shield in the last 18 months.

I generally think you are a pretty decent poster, but every now and then you do get caught up in the trolling. One swallow doesnt make a summer as they say, one goal in injury time to win the league for the first time in a very long time does not a massive trophy cabinet make. Sure, you will no doubt win a load more with all that cash, but to have a gloat about your 'trophy' hall in relation to Van Persie's club selection was either a poor 'troll' or tongue in cheek. I would have thought the 'in cheek', but could be wrong it seems.

Always appreciate someone that thinks they can offer advice on my posting style. Others would call you a busy campaigner, but not me.

I don't get caught up in the trolling, I discuss things on a football forum. If someone comments about my club I'll generally reply to it. If someone slags off my football club I'll generally reply to it.

It doesn't offend me, and nothing I've said should offend anyone on that board.

The simple fact though is that if someone wants to go somewhere in England to win things, Man City is one of three clubs you'll look at. If someone suggests otherwise that makes it worth debating to me. It is a football discussion forum although their is an increasing number of people that seem offended if someone wants to discuss football on it.

Of course if you don't want City fans coming on the thread maybe have a word to the one or two posters who can't stop talking about City in the United thread.

I can't recall ever saying that United would win another trophy. But if you're going to suggest that a person wanting to win silverware wouldn't consider City it's only fair to point out that we are reigning league champions, and community shield holders. United won their last trophy 18 months ago.

If you can't handle reading that in the United thread, maybe next time you want to slag off City you could do it in the Terrace, or some other thread.

Of course I'm not showing respect. None was shown to my club, and if you want to throw hand grenades from the safety of your own thread don't be too shocked if you get one coming straight back at you.

There's plenty of threads where you can slag off my or any other club, have the bollocks and do it out in the open rather than make snide comments and then go hiding behind your mummy's skirt when someone says something back.

As it is stated in this section, you must show respect when in another team's thread (paraphrasing).
Which is why I don't even post in you clubs thread usuallly

Club threads aren't there for people to hide behind while slagging off other clubs.

If you don't want people from other clubs coming into your thread, don't slag other clubs off in it.

And until I'm told otherwise by a moderator I'll show the same respect on any thread on BF that my club has been shown

Got a problem with that, you know where the report button is.

And i never said that he wouldn't consider City, of course he would, any player would as they are loaded with cash and will be winning trophies more often now. I was just saying that if it was "all about money" and nothing else, he would be at City, because you guys have the most money. He wanted more money and a chance to win some trophies and he chose us over you guys.
