Sets a tone for them but I agree that you would not break the bank for him.
Has had a lot of hamstring injuries in the last few years, so this is the first really uninterrupted run he’s had it, and he’s just getting better and better now.
Played exclusively on the wing today (on Gulden?) and had 11 more disposals than anyone else on the ground (36, career-high by 8), at 88% efficiency, and despite playing wing, he had the equal 2nd most clearances (5) and also 10 contested possessions.
One we need to get locked away sooner rather than later. Especially as he’s one of Nas’s best friends and housemate.

That is a good statline.
Got 8 coaches votes (Grundy 9) so Ross rated him BOG. Been in the votes numerous times this year now.
Has a lot going for him. Kicking not so much, unfortunately, so will be interesting to see which position he ultimately settles.
Why is he unsigned so late in the season?
I strongly suspect we’ve been low-balling our own guys (including NWM, Windy and Hall), so that we’ve got cash to burn on those from other clubs, but are realising these guys aren’t going to stay for “mates rates” and so that’s why they haven’t been locked away yet.

They have only tabled a 2 yr deal.
And he wants to be a ball getter not a tagger.
Wilson also allegedly not happy.
RTB is a difficult coach to get along with for some players.
If a club offered him 4 yrs and the role he wants to play why wouldn't he consider it?
Has played wing in a non-tagging role the last 3 weeks- with Garcia having effectively taken over his inside role on an oppo gun- but was moved back inside about half way through last week, as Garcia missed through injury and Holmes was getting off the chain.
So going forward he won’t necessarily need to play a tagging/run with role, as Garcia’s also excellent at it.
Will probably have to go to Pickett again this week tho, after the amazing job he did last time.
Yeah I’m not a fan. Think he’s very narcissistic, like his great mate the Dodo, which means he’s going to generally be a pain in the ass to deal with. Always wanting to “win” (AKA screw the other party over) every negotiation.
