Mark Bolton for Trent Croad

I have mentioned this on the draft board and people indicated that it would be a possibility. IMO this would fix a big problem for us in the CHF region. Croad is still young, athletic and very capable of playing foward or back (see his form at hawthorn). Croad's trade value would have diminished after this season so I think that they would consider this trade. Bolton is out of contract and has no real place in the side (the coaches don't know where to play him). Trent has already taken a pay cut this season so his salary may not be as hefty as some may think.
I would love this trade to happen. What does everyone else think?

yes, however neither have made their debuts and therefore will struggle to have the impact that we need next season.

nothing will come of it, it is just something that i suggested would be a good move.

Admittedly Bolts has taken time to develop but players like him are very difficult to get. He has height, mobility, some pace and good skills. He's entering the best years of his football career. Let's not throwaway the effort of waiting for him to hit his straps, let's really use a talented footballer. I know it's been said that the coaching staff weren't sure where to play him but I take a different perspective on that and see him as a player than can be moved into a number of positions during a game where we might be having problems. Those kind of guys are pretty valuable.
