Too good lads. Well done. Saint Kilda looks very strong with some good players to come into the side. 4 top shouldnt be a problem.

What did you think of Cogs game tonight? Personally Luke Ball is one of my favorite non-Richmond players. I knew him back in his Xavier days and always knew he was a gun.

I thought Cogs got the better of him tonight. Been very happy with him. In the last 3 weeks hes been matched up apon Cooney, Hasebly and Ball. Each time hes been able to hold his head up.

Love to hear your opions on his game tonight.

cheers

To be honest bentleigh i didn't even notice him much..but then i watched the replay and saw that he lined up on lukey ball and that probably explained why i thought luke had a quiet night. Did he play the whole game on Ball?? If so i think he did a pretty decent job, probably the hardest lukey has encountered this year.

There were a few positves that Richmond can take out of the game and the form and performance of Coughlan is definitely one of them. He had a great negating game on Luke Ball and came up trumps gaining more possession himself than Luke. I also liked some of the things Deledio did - he's definitely top notch as well. Gasper seems over his poor 2004, and Shane Tuck is a ripper.

Good Luck until we next meet.

yep all game on ball

ball had 14 possies 1 goal, coughlin had 23 possies and kicked a point i think

I was at the game and like narthola I realised bally had a shocker but I didn't seem to notice Cogs at all. He is a good player and did a good job on bally.

The main thing I love about bally is if he does have only 14 disposals and isn't damaging it is the tackling, and the 1% that make him such a champ and why I rate him higher than judd, as judd when he is shut down doesn't contribute like that.

Give credit where credit is due to cogs. Another win for richmond was Stafford did well, and gasper showed some form.

You guys won the midfield clearances maybe 60-40, but the fact that we played Chaffey in there 50% of the game instead of Jackson meant that the Saints were almost certainties to win. We turned over the ball so often with poor kicking under no pressure. Fiora did well again which is good. Knobel has been doing a pretty decent job also. Taking some good strong marks, getting possesions and hit outs

whether it be jackson or chaffey the result wouldnt have been different.. Chaffey did very well on Josh Carr the week before and he is one of the elite midfielders of the comp, so i think he can be forgiven for having a shocker, but he is not the answer to our midfield solution.
