harvey has been at essendon for years hopeing to get the top job of coaching but kevin sheedy just wouldnt go.............now he went to freo and look wat he done for them...there backline was as twice as good as wat it was before and he done heaps for them

he really wants to coach a team so do u think when sheeds retires he will come back to essendon as head coach..

i hope he does cause he has been waiting years for this to happen and he would make a mighty fine coach
wat are your thoughts

I agree with a friend of mine that says we should get an outsider, someone who hasn't played at the club over the past 20 years. The exception to that rule is our captain from 1982.

I would love to see harvs coach EFC after next season,BUT only if sheeds has had enough and only if we had a season as bad as this year.
Sheeds can coach us for the next 5 years as far as im concerned!

Maybe Harvs will come back and coach, but Sheeds will hang around behind the scenes, and all the games will be credited as being coached by Sheeds.

yea mate enough is enough

i know he is one of the greatest coaches of all time and he is the best in the comp but he is to old and his coaching is predictable now

I agree with what you say, I think we need a fresh approach and Sheedy is becoming a bit stale at Essendon

I'd like to see Harvs come back & coach the Dons.
He could be just what we are after, a breath of fresh air.
But it'll be a sad day when Sheeds leaves.

Harvey was seen last wednesday week having a coffee with Sheeds in a Cafe in Fletcher Street Essendon. mail is that he will coach in 2008;)

kewl
that'll be great

I think he wants to come back to coach essendon. He pulled out of the St. Kilda job very quickly and has done so when the last few coaches have been sacked.

Wouldnt be suprised if they let him go to freo to get some more experience and get another theroy on football instead of having a all Sheedy football experience.

good points there sinna.... i think harvey is happy for now over here, he enjoys the freo atmosphere, the freo/perth lifestyle and perhaps will take over from connolly after 2007 ;)

Quality coffee at the Red and Black Spot.

Is it beyond belief that they were just catching up?

harvey would be the perfect person to replace sheedy. he has he skils to coach and already knows all of our players. i dont think there is any other coach that i would prefer to coach essendon than harvey

Like Whoosha, Harvs had to leave Essondon to see how other clubs work. You only have to look at the Dorkers this year when CC was copping it from every man and his dog. The thinking over here is that Harvs efforts finally began to sink in and could have saved CC,s a***. He WILL coach the Dons.
