Are the Bombers that bad or is he that good?
I know we have to beat and worry about the swans tomorrow first
My question is in 2 weeks time how we going to stop him
There going to very hard to beat on their home ground

Stop Lecras and kennedy next week and we win simple as that.

And yes essendon are really, really bad at the moment

funny thing is we sti;; cant beat the bombers lol
but i still think wce will be very hard to beat

Phew, i saw this and thought it was going to become a "We must get LeCras" thread.

Essendon are shot, but not to take anything away. A breath taking performance. 12 goals is a rare feat no matter who plays who.

Well lets hope we can beat the bummers, pathetic how we can't get over them.

Kicked 5 and 6 in his last two games against us. Could tear us apart.

This is why I don't think Bower should be played on him. He's towelled both of our tall backs up because he's so good on the ground.

The club needs to seriously think about putting Armfield on him and getting the talls to help out in the air. If Jamison can camp in Le Cras' leading space and make sure it comes to ground, Dennis will be able to lock him down from there.

If we beat their midfield and the rest of their side, we won't have to worry about LeCras.

Fevola has kicked goals, yet we've been belted or lost games by a few kicks.

Let them worry about stopping Waite, Yarran, Garlett and Betts.

With Kreuzer out for the year, Cox and Naitanui might be a bigger headache than LeCras.

His performance dismantling Essendon tonight with his 12 goals - and throwing fuel onto the fire of their implosion is enough grounds to label Mark a true Carlton legend.

Bless You Mark.

Good points

Bower or Walker, you need someone who can match him with pace and at least spoil and out muscle him well in contests.

I was at the game last time we played them i think russell struggled on him??? Cant exactly remember.

How are we going to beat the 16th team in the comp? Not sure if that's really an issue. Not having Knights as your coach is probably all you need. Knights looks to have completely lost it.

Any of those 3 or 4 better and more experienced than Dustin Fletcher? Doubt it but he got towelled up hence why the suggestions of Bower are just so funny. Your gonna have to put Gibbs on him and hope otherwise LeCras will have a lazy 5+ game on his hand for the third time running

Fletcher is a terrible match up, nowhere near mobile enough. He's 16cm taller than LeCras. Bower would be a good match up, as would Walker or Russell. He won't be getting the same supply against us that he got against Essendon. Get the **** off our board you half wit.

Any of those 3 or 4 better and more experienced than Dustin Fletcher?....

lol. Great idea playing a 201cm defender on a small forward. Do you understand now why Knights will be getting sacked shortly? Don't get too excited about beating the Dons - they're in crisis. Weagles are still firmly entrenched as the AFL's 2010 Basket Case, thanks to some terrible use of draft picks over the past 3 years.

:)

As TheGeneral said earlier, I think that Cox and Naitanui are the bigger issues next weekend. If the Eagles get limited delivery to their forwards then Kennedy and LeCras are ultimately not an issue. Win the midfield battle and convert.

Last week the club planned around stopping Lakes influence... we then spent the day kicking it to him..

This week the club talked about winning contested possession.... we get spanked in conteseted possession.

Hopefully there is no planning around Lecras
