Hey guys, thought id pop by to your site, and say i think your coach is absolutely fantastic... he built the side up into a very good side over the past few yrs. Last yr you had a bad yr... things didnt go right, and even with the good things at Hawthorn at the moment, losing form and injuries can ruin any team. From what i remember, Thompson didnt make any large changes to the team list over the preseason (except a few handy injections!) as he still had a bit of faith in the players.

Its a big reason why i'm Pro Neale Daniher... his team have had injuries and poor form but are still a good team.

Anyway, back to your coach... without knowing him that well, from the outside, looks like you have the goods

He's in a tough situation.

If the Cats win the flag, he'll be known as a champion coach.

If the Cats miss the top 4, then he'll be known as a dud and all you blokes will be after his head like last year and after the Roos game in round 5.
 
The GFC

I have all the faith in that Bomber will be a premireship coach at the Geelong football club. Hope that all the "supporters" that don't like him as the cats coach have come around now that they are on the top of the ladder. Jimmy Bartel in awesome form will deff win the B & F and I think will also win a Brownlow. Dash also in good form wont be far behind Jimmy in the B & F this year. Well Done to Tommy Lonergan for the couragess effert 2 get back into footy :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu: Welcome to all replies if any xoxoxo:p

I must admit I've had my doubts over the last few years, but ..

Let's be honest here.
It's the eveness of the team which is what's working here. Something Bomber has been talking about for a loooong time.

Guess it's finally clicking.

We can name drop most of our list and that's a fact. I genuinly look forward to either watching ( or downloading ) a game now. I look forward to seeing how we play, who does what, where we make small changes to combat other team tactics.

At the end of the day, I think it's the overall lift from all quarters that's pleasing to watch.

IMHO I think it's time we seriously took a moment to think where we were a few years back, and where we are at now.

If I could send 1 message to the guys it would be this.

Keep going, because it's just great footy to watch ATM :thumbsu:

It is, or rather it has been for the last 6 weeks. But unfortunately it's round 12, not October, and they don't hand out premierships for being on top at the halfway mark.

There's still a long way to go, and Harvey Keitel's words from Pulp Fiction ("Let's not start suc......" etc.) are quite appropriate.

We haven't done anything yet. Raise a premiership cup and we'll be happy to say how wonderful the world is. Until then, we (or more particularly I) won't.

it looked like he took at trip to corio or somthing two guys had him tide up and guns at his head they made him read a note that said how good bomer was evertime he didnt read it they would bash him some more he was pissing blood by the end of it . it was a pisser.

he also tip geelong by a shitload. i think he might have evan said all they have to do is turn up or bris will be lucky if they can evan snag a goal or somthing like that
 
On another subject ENTIRELY but Kittenish, "Self-confessed Geelong Bogan"? You live in Sydney and have never seen a game at KP. Seems a strange claim.

Back to what Partridge was saying though, I completely agree. No one ever remembers who tops the ladder after Round 12.

I would rather see flags flags go to Freo and Sydney as opposed to Collingwood or Essendon.
