There's no-way Woosha will have his contracted extended. I know he's a champion of the club & I hope he uses his brain and walks away.

I think we should go after Mark Williams.

  • I don't think getting him West will be a problem after coaching in South Aus & Blacktown
  • Clearly, wants to be a head coach again.
  • We need a hard coach, Woosha was a hard player but I think he's a soft coach.
  • We need someoen who will make the tough decision and stamp out the 'boys club' culture that Woosha has establish. E.G drop/delist senior players
  • Watching him on the boundary and how the Richmond players respect him and listen to him
  • Someone who will bring in game plans other than kick it long.
I think we have the bases of a seriously contender, just need someone else in the drivers seat to tweak things and improve the playing squad.

fair call. maybe crazy Vossy will get the boot and he can finally do his apprenticeship as our midfield coach

IIRC he was accused of that exact same thing at Port before leaving.

Would rather Paul Roos and after watching him on the couch over the years he is one of the best at analyzing game plans and even if hasn't coached for years i still think he would know a hell of a lot more than most current coaches.

Bring in a stoppage coach to also help out Scott Burns.

thread title needs to be changed to this man in bold. Would give us that defensive edge and turn our bunch of soft ***** into real men who can win the hard ball.

Paul Roos hasn't seriously played footsies with any of the clubs he has been targeted by as far as I know. Why does anyone think he will play footsies with us? Not saying I hate the idea (although I do hate his commentary of anything to do with Swans games), but just not sure how realistic this is.

I think we need a No Beards policy

Arguably our best midfielder this year has a beard and our forward that is leading the Coleman medal. Maybe it should be compulsory for players to have beards..

Meh, we all know it will be Woosh again next year and the year after. its a forgone conclusion that the same old rubbish will get dished up year in and out, i tell you one thing last night I said to wife..this team doesn't deserve the full house every week - it deserves empty stadiums for the absolute crap its dishing up.

I sat behind the interchange last night and he literally spent the whole game yelling at players to man up. Literally. Very irritating

Based on that, no.

Can't say it didn't work though

But it was pretty clear it was an act and he is trying to get his profile out there. No better stage than a stand alone game to do so.

There are not too many seasoned coaches out there. But I agree, we need someone who is a proven performer. I don't think Choco is a bad option personally, we could re-visit 2001 and appoint Neil Craig, though he would bore me to tears.

Heard a rumour (and I stress it was only a rumour) that Woosh is gone at the end of the year by his own choosing. Apparently he has had a change in his personal life and come the last day of the year he is gone.

Also heard a rumour that Wellingham wasn't on a trampoline.

Not sure as to the credibility of either as they weren't from first hand sources, but the Woosha rumour I have heard from two different people.

Trampoline is defenitely true. He was incredibly drunk though, that was certainly left out of the media
