Different sorts of players Lewis controlled and created play. Inglis is more individual and a finisher, his defence wouldn't be at the level of Lewis.

No doubt wally lewis was the best i ever seen, but consider this greg inglis is only 19, and doing he's apprenticeship, by the time he finnishes he will be up there with the mighty WALLY LEWIS.

How's the bloke in the crowd? His jaw has just hit the ground! Is Greg Ingliss to Rugby what Judd is to footy?

maybe not, but still never under estimate how good Inglis is in defence

It would be like comparing Marc Murphy to Ted Whitten.

Not really. Inglis has dominated playing for his team, his State and now his country - all at the age of 19. Obviously it's premature to say that he'll be as good as Wally, but it'd definitely not be like comparing a promising youngster.

The main difference is - Inglis has already established him as one of the Top 5 players in the game right now.

What's been missed in all this is, once again, Australian captain Darren Lockyer has shown what a great player he is, for it was his vision and superb pass that allowed Inglis to do his thing.

Bringing Lewis into the same situation he would be the one throwing the pass to set up the try. I doubt Inglis could be as effective in a reverse role ie. distributer.

Fair enough, but we'll see in the coming years when Inglis moves into 5/8th.

Lets just hope that rah-rah never get there grubby little hands on him.

For the NRL, it is good that he plays for the storm because he is the type of player that people would go out of there way to watch every week, lets hope that he stays there for the NRL in melbourne.

IMO, he will be and immortal by the time he's done.
