Match Summary
i think we defended way too deep again for the most part of the game, which because brisbane had no key forwards didnt hurt us as bad in this game.. would have been different if they had have had brown
we look very dangerous in patches but i think our game style only allows us to play a snatch and grab sort of game and we looked really good when we one the clearances and were forced to set up further up the ground and lock it in as opposed to this counter attacking game that bailey wants us to play were we attack from defence and sometimes have no options in the forward half
i think we were way too jurrah focused ( even tho he kicked 5 ) and we didnt hit up green dunn watts and co in the 50 enough
nathan jones and jared rivers were pretty good
we certainly are very dangerous when we get repeated entries in the 50
we dont play enough tempo footy and work the ball into the 50 with precise kicks
a better team would have had us dead in the second quarter
a wins a win but im certainly not over the moon about it theres still plenty to work on
watts looks like he needs a week in the 2's
gysberts and wonna improved the team... morton will be betta for the small run
