is it finally this time that he gets the nab rising star award. he is either ineligiable to qualify or is just bloody stiff. sure he didnt have the best of games down at the cattery but he wasnt the worst either.

I plead and plead, hopefully with all the hype surrounding the game the drop kicks that vote for the award might watch him play.

Nice thought , but they will give it to Higgins.

They change the argument weekly to suit who they select.

When Rosa plays well they give it to some one who has been consistent like Thomas in round two after Rosa had 27 possesions against Adelaide.

When Rosa is solid and continues to play consistently good football then they give it to someone who has played a blinder Like Polo. Which was thoroughly deserved mind you .

So if there is any rhyme or reason to the selection process I sure as hell cant see it !!

It was up for the taking in the last couple of weeks, but he didn't step up and put in an exceptional effort.

He had one exceptional game against Adelaide, and was perhaps a bit unlucky to miss out to Thomas, who was rewarded for another good performance after selectors split hairs with he and Murphy in the first week.

Since then though, he hasn't really stamped his authority on a game. He's likely to get one towards the end of the season if he hasn't by then, as that's when they tend to reward consistency over the season.

yep but still good enough to be in the best midfield in the comp. weak argument mate because he has been consistent with a few exceptional games. the hard thing for youngsters is to remain consistent when the opposition finally realise your pros and cons.

if higgins gets it, the selection panel is as bad as wallsys commentating.

Rosa>Higgins for the Nomination. They like consistency, and finally Rosa should get it!!!
