Make no bones about it, this guy will end up on a senior AFL list in 2005, I only hope it's at Geelong. I've been a rap for him for a couple of seasons now, and it is now impossible to 'hide' him, believe me he has become known. He was extremely close to being drafted by Essendon last year, my mail is that if Dyson hadn't have been available they would have taken Egan. I reckon he would have been better than Thurley, if we're going to 'waste' a second round pick this year I hope we take Matt.
For those who haven't seen him, he's a big kid, apparently played his junior footy at CHF but from what I've seen he's a CHB. I'd rate him more of a footballer than an athlete, and I'd love to see him as a shut down type CHB releasing Harley a little.
