I would say his career is over, but you never know. Still young, and is experienced enough to be trade bait. Not much on him, but you never know. On a serious note, i would like to see him out there in a Black and White guernsey once more, jsut to see if he can do something.

Hasn't performed too badly at Williamstown but it'll be some time before he can consolidate a spot, let alone get a spot in the senior 22.

well it doesnt auger well for Matty when he cant get a game in our lineup the way we are travelling at the moment.....and especially consdiering he played every game (i think?) in 2003...it appears to be a sharp fall from the top
id have to agree with what the other Maggies fans have said
how about we trade him for jake schuback, one of your youngsters, and a Victorian, who is going nowhere? id like that trade

That sounds logical, but we did something similar with Carlton, took Massie and gave them Eccles, and it was unproductive for both parties.

While we're talking Massie...what does an injury riddled season mean for him? He's hardly set the world alight since coming to SA and spends a fair bit of time with Norwood.
Although, he's done more at the Crows than Eccles (a forgotten man) at Carlton. I was disappointed by Eccles demise as I thought him to be a good player.

Its amazing to see a player who plays 40 odd games in 2 years not given a chance when the team is a deplorable 1-5. It just shows why Collingwood are so bad, the selection committee is a complete joke.
If they play him out of the square as a leading forward, he'll be good for 2-3 goals a game. At Collingwood, apparently that makes you a superstar.
