When you are at work does your boss come over at 3pm and scream and shout and ask you to pull out all stops so that you can have an exceptionally productive last two hours?
Does he call your company's history into question and ask you to do it for the privelage of wearing the company logo on your tie? Do you get interviewed by media upon leaving the car park and get a write up of your performance in the sunday papers? Do the know it all and jump on them when you are down journalists have a large affect on when you are sacked?
If so then perhaps you know best about constructive critisism for AFL players.
Control attitude to team mates?! Every heard of Shane Warne, he demanded excellence from team mates as well and did alright. Perhaos white line fever to team mates should be in some sort of control, but showing dissapointment should be a responsibility taken by two parties; the one that gave the horrible performance, and the one who articulates that.

* Do I get paid $150k to play the sport I love?
* When was the last time Shane Warne screamed at someone until his veins nearly popped out? Maybe not the best example - he (as a former St Kilda footballer) is well known for his off-field work with other players.
* When was the last time Max did an interview?
* When was the last time you saw Ross Lyon jumping up and down streaming like a raving lunatic?

You also haven't commented on whether the sprays are actually effective.

Clearly you do not rise to a personal challenge on the footy field then.

I don't mind when my boss screams and yells when I stuff up. But I cannot stand it when he king hits me just to keep me in my place, usually just before he goes on holiday's.

No (probably), but I quite like my job and try my best at that.

Every time the ball hits the batter's pad (to the umpire)

* When was the last time Max did an interview?
Do not know, should that matter? If he did more would you allow him the latitude to scream?!

* When was the last time you saw Ross Lyon jumping up and down streaming like a raving lunatic?
Have not seen it, perhaps it is what is missing. I am a Ken Sheldon type guy though.

That's more like it Saucy. I want to see the emotional Max but NOT to his teammates on the ground. No problem with getting in Lynch or Tredrea's face and giving it to them. Wouldn't mind it towards the umpire at times too (but not Ray Ray as that's an automatic 75m penalty).

Good too see Max find a different outlet for his frustrations via dumping Dunn on his arse and seeing how much of Moloney's jumper he could shred.

Nice work Maxy!

That was amazing! Was just in front of us. Max looked like he was going to eat Maloney's liver. I think most people close to it were just stunned at how ferocious & evil Maxy looked. :thumbsu:

Did it show the incident on the TV, I thought Max was looking away when he actually bumped into him.

Lucky it wasn't Yze - he would have been knocked 10 rows back into the crowd performing death convulsions! ... and this year's nominee is .....

TV didn't pick it up - all you could see was Dunn going down. Didn't look particularly significant contact from how the Dunny brush fell.

They got some good grabs of Max and Maloney facing off though.

I was pleased to see the umpires remembered Flooyze as a stager. Seem to remember him doing a full pirouette looking for the free at some stage.

I think they gave him a goal for the first one, then were wise to it after that.

Watched Footy Classified, and they discussed the Max thing. What I found interesting was a replay of the Leigh Fisher one - saw Corrie in the background laughing at Max. No doubt opposition teams get at least a laugh out of seeing the team break down, so hoping Max will keep directing his anger towards the opposition. Ross Lyon said he "had a chat" with Max about it.
