Shocked to hear of the death of Max Lees yesterday.
Apparently after a very short battle with cancer.
A great conditioner of horses,best known for the champion Luskin
Star.
In later years,Max always had a good mare in the stable.
From memory he won the Coolmore Classic 5 times.
A great loss to the training ranks of Newcastle.
Our thoughts are with his family.
