Was anyone at the game Sunday who saw Rooke turn the game for us? When he went into the guts about 2/3 through the second 1/4 we finally started to get clearances. Up until then we were getting hammered by the Saints. He threw himself in and made the Saints think twice and our boys break free. Great move by the coach, and great work by Rooke. Very underrated pinch hitter or shut down man.

Watched the replay yesterday and this was a noticeable feature. Tough, relentless footy from our Max with the 1970s hairdo. Also - SJ seemed unlucky rather than fumbling and miskicking, Gablett courage itself (Baker's footy stinks) and Bartel lurking always. Wojcinski seemed even more 'uncatchable'. But Rooke was terrific.

Rooke is always terrific and the sole reason i have 33 on my cats jumper.

The guy enjoys getting battered and hurt. I love the way he plays footy.

Nablett not far away either. Let's not forget his footy experience prior to the Cats was Modewarre, not the TAC, draft route most take. And then there's Tommy ....

Yeah my brother told me he watched the game on TV, and he said watching Rooke throw himself into packs was incredible. Hardest player at the ball in the competition right now I reckon. Love him.

Rooke is a gun, has always been, just seems that Thompson has learnt how to fire it. Rooke is a legitimate midfielder in his own right and should be used there even more imo
