don't try to work out what the MRP will do from week to week, it'll do your head in. Interesting discussion on SEN this morning. Whitey said Puopolo dropped his knees to go in to a sprinting action, that's why he got him on the face. Makes it accidental?

It is clear as day when he doesn't play. This weekends actions were a culmination of the teams readiness to bring intensity, ferocity and he just had a brain fade. Who know though the bloke is shorter than Blairy, most other player would have just copped it in the chest.

Shit, not sure why I have to defend our premiership captain as a leader... I think everyone, especially our own supporters need to just give it a f***ing rest to be honest. We want a premiership and yet all we do is take pot shots at every one of our players.

I'm not questioning Maxwell's leadership, Im questioning the fact you seem to think the backline will magically get so much worse and lack leadership should he not play.

I do however question his value to the side when he worse with ball in hand the Simon Buckley.

Luckily for his sake you can still be a key contributor to a football team without having elite foot skills.

Our brownlow medalist isn't a terrific user of the ball either.

Shit tonne better with the ball then Maxwell, his disposal comes back with interest every time he moves it forward over 30m.

Hell even his handballs put other team mates under un-due pressure just ask S.Buckley who copped a reaming for getting caught after Maxwell sold him the pill with a player already on his hammer, ffs Buckley wasn't even expecting to get it as Maxwell had more space then he did. (Not a fan of S.Buckley's decision making either).

Makes me laugh that people get so defensive over any criticism of Maxwell if he wasn't captain no one would give a shit and a LOT more would be joining the chorus.
