Mazda RX-8 - your thoughts??

The RX-8 has caught my eye and I'm wondering what people think of it. Not sure what the last RX-7 was but this new RX-8 has a 171kw 1308cc rotary which puts out 211nm's of torque at 5500revs. I drove the old RX-7 and the turbo was amazing, loved the noise it made too. At $62k it's cheaper than the old model too. 6.2secs 0-100 is sharp.

What do people think of the new RX-8??? Any other options in this price range that can go with this car?

Looks pretty awesome.

Other cars in consideration could be the Alfa 147 GTA V6, Alfa 156 2.5 V6, AUdi 1.8 S3 Turbo, Chrysler Crossfire, Mercedes C230K sports coupe, MG ZT 2.5, Nissan 350Z (206kW!!!! And nice!), Saab 9-3T Aero, or VW 2.8 Bora.
