I just don't think its worth it to play him now. He could be a huge part of our future, and we don't want to ruin him for what would ultimately be (if anything) a minor upgrade on who we've already got.
Im hoping we dont bring him in and play him full back at this stage.
But seriously theres a spot for him, (McGuane) but we dont want to bring him in too soon and let the monster full backs break him. Talent wise he seems good to go.

If he was a mid with such a light frame then he would get pulverised so no... no play.
BUT - as a tall, a very tall who shows footy nous and a footy brain, I would play him for sure if his form warrants it.
Maybe pick the mark in terms of which defence... don't expose him to a back 6 full of 200 game 26 year olds but sure....
I wanna see our next CHF in the yellow and black!

I liked his game at Coburg last weekend,good kick at goal but wouldnt want him to be hurt.He needs to build up a little bit but he is an exciting player.
Im more inclined to give astbury or griff a game, mcbean still a stone under weight for mine. Most of his goals look to be in play than marks, would prefer the other way around

I'd be more inclined to play McDonough. He's got a ready made build and his form in the VFL is building.
McBean's probably a year away. We need him up over 90kgs for him to compete on the big key backs.

Apparently has put on 7 Kgs this year but needs another 10 to get near required playing weight. Future star (such a tall guy with great skills below his knees!) but only give him a taste of senior footy this year if we fall out of finals contention IMO.

McBean is up to 93kgs now, hard to believe a player at 202cms can be only 86kgs when drafted, but he was.
Don't know what they are feeding him but its working. With his weight steadily increasing he may very well be ready to go from Round 1 next year, rather than the 2015 season it looked like when we drafted him.
Will be a gun player.

I'm on the play string McBean now bandwagon...he is a smart footballer...lots of skinny players out there who can match it at AFL level

Yeah that's true. Still, no rush with McBean, we held Vlastuin back until he was ready, we should do the same with McBean.

No doubt when we do unleash the Beanstalker he will be ready to lay waste to his opponents!!!
