Also posted this in the Bay 13 area, but thought considering most MCC members are Demons supporters, id post here too....

This is a quick notice to all MCC members out there and people who have been guests in the MCC reserve at the MCG. The MCC website is currently running a poll asking if members would support the introduction of "wet areas " ( i.e can consume alcohol in the viewing seats ) in the MCC reserve.

For all those members out there who like me are sick of having to cram into the bars and skull down a pot at half time or between quarters, and who would rather just enjoy a drink out in the outer like all the other sections in the G then log onto the MCC website and vote "YES"

Tough question that one - There are numerous times when I'd love to have a beer in my seat, but would I want a wet area possibly filled with drunks. With the pricing I don't want to drink too much anyway, so a beer before the game and one at half time is fine for me. I wouldn't want bay 13 at the cricket right next to me either (I love bay 13 but I also love being quite removed from them at times as well).

MCC/MFC membership has been around for quite awhile, and they send out a form for it with the MCC renewal forms.

The $40 option has only been around for a couple of years.
