Yep a lot of peoples sentiments jnb, he was at one stage early on top 12 I think, we just lucked out this year, by the look I'm rapt with our picks can;t wait to see them running around in navy

WH actually said McCarthy has recently measured in at 197cm. Apparently he grew some more. Seems to be a highly talented athletic tall who plays mostly back, but can play forward or even on the wing. Maybe more of a Waite type. Still can't believe we got him with a mid 30's pick. Obviously plenty of other Clubs are worried about their midfields and are loading up on vanilla mids rather than taking the best talent available. it worked to our advantage nicely.
