MCG surface this weekend...

We had a really bad run with injuries today and so did Collingwood yesterday. Has there been a problem with the MCG surface lately? It looked OK on TV but with so many injuries on consecutive days I wonder if there's been problems with too little rain or something like that?

We got to run out on the MCG after the game today and it seemed fine. Unfortunately I was at both games so got to see every injury first hand, and they were all at different parts of the ground so it wouldn't be any particular dodgy spot or anything. I think it's just really really bad luck. The other coincidence is both GWS & the Pies used the same bench.

Thanks dude! Admittedly though, after having Patton go down right in front of me I was too flat to celebrate the Freo win.

Grats to the Giants though. One of the most courageous games I've ever seen a team play.

Were the crowd allowed on the ground after the game? Think I saw that, it's been a while since it happened.

Yeah. Only the 2nd time I've seen it happen. Probably because the crowd was tiny.

Only the second time I've been to the MCG and never did I thought I'd get to go onto the MCG field.
