OK all you Hawk and Pie supporters - I'm thinking of bringing in one of these two basically as a cash cow for a 4-5 weeks, although whoever I get in is probably likely to start on the ground so points also relevant.

My thoughts:
- Sidebum $100K cheaper, so will free up more cash for me
- McGlynn likely to score higher and top out higher price-wise - love the tackling!
- Sidebum might struggle to keep his place with Didak, Thomas, Medhurst, Stanley coming back in next couple of weeks
- McGlynn possibly safer, but Hawks still have Ellis, Young, Hodge, Ladson about to come back and maybe push him out
- No reason to think either have any injury issues at the moment

I'm really undecided - what do you guys think??

I'd probably go for Sidebottom if you're purely just using them as a cashcow. Seeing as though he's $100k cheaper I guess he's got more of a chance to grow. But obviously that depends on how well both players go in their next few matches. Just in case, this may come in handy for you:

I realise it's more helpful for Dream Team rather than Super Coach but at least it still gives you a little clue as to how they are both travelling this year.
:)

Vote is 7-2 in favour of Sidebottom.

To be honest I'm leaning more towards McGlynn though - I think he's a little more likely to keep his spot, and as a mature player more likely to score better and not have off weeks. Also, if both keep their current averages he will actually go up by more despite a higher base.
