McKenna set for Magpies

Collingwood is poised to appoint former West Coast great Guy McKenna to the staff of senior coach Michael Malthouse.
Collingwood football manager Neil Balme flew to Perth yesterday to speak to McKenna, who last served under Malthouse at West Coast as one of the game's finest back flankers.
The Magpies announced last week that they would not be renewing Terry Daniher's contract, thus creating a vacancy for an assistant coach.
"We're talking to him. I mean Mick knows him pretty well and he already has some experience as a coach, apart from the knowledge he gathered in his playing career," Balme said.
"There is a bit of water to go under the bridge yet and there are a couple of others we want to talk to, but there is a mutual interest."

As senior coach, McKenna led Claremont to fourth in the WAFL this year after working as an assistant to Eagle coaches Ken Judge and John Worsfold in 2001 and 2002.
He moved directly on to Judge's staff in 2001 after retiring at the end of 2000 as one of the great players of his time.
McKenna, a three-time All-Australian, played 267 matches, including West Coast's 1992 and '94 premiership teams.
