Who do you think is better? I would argue that Wojcinski is a little overated due to the fact that he is part of a successful team. He doesn't get his hands on it as much as McMahon, isn't as good a kick, and isn't as creative in my opinion.

Although McMahon does have some shortcomings if we are successful he will be seen in much more of a positive light. Im not saying he's a great player im just saying that he is one of those players that cops it in a poor/average team and is celebrated in a good team.

Anyway what does everyone think?

yeah i sort of agree that because he plays for Geelong, he looks much better.

In all honestly IMO, Wojinski>>>>>McMahon.
1. Wojinskis speed is unbelievable
2. His defensive skills 1 on 1 crap on McMahons.

However i do believe McMahons disposal is slightly better, but not better enough to overcome the two factors.

Wojinski for me

I love the way Wojak gets the pill, puts it under his arm and breaks the lines. Deledio could do worse than to watch him and try to emulate some of his runs from Wing to CHF not BP to Wing. I don't think Wojaks kicking is that bad. I would take him in a heart beat, he is also a good body size.

Wojcinski....is quicker, tougher, whereas mcmahon needs a lot of time to generate good disposal.
Woj's disposal may not be as good as mcmahons when both players are wide open, but Woj nudges him in almost all other areas.

Wojcinski is a seriously good player , perhaps the door might be open for the tigers to snare somebody from the cats at seasons end with alot of their players out of contract and surely we must have room in our cap. Not sure if it would be wojcinski but i wouldnt mind him would be a walk up start at tigerland.

for fear of being howled down I believe that the neg side of Mcmahons game is sensationalised to say the least...In short someone who works hard enough to find the aggot 25 times a game is likely to %^%$# up more than a player that knocks up half that many possies..Logic..He's alright, and by season end I guarantee this will be the balance of opinion:thumbsu:

Yep, very true, and I am actually very suprised at your opinion Boji.

Let's not forget too that Wojak is actually close to 3 years older than McMahon, and I am guessing that this thread is partiatally based on the rumours that we were looking at Wojcinski last year, and no doubt it would have been out of Jordy and Wojak in the end, personally I am very happy we have Jordy and he will be able to provide us with another 5-7 years of run and skill as compared to that of about 3-5 from Wojcinski.

Woj pace does it for me, happy with Jordy though
just wish those errors jordy makes were not so big. everyone has a bad kick here and there jordys always seem to set the run up for the other team, Just a bit unlucky i guess

Wojcinski didn't steam down to the back pocket on the weekend slide into a contest surrounded by three Port opponents, take the ball in one movement, rise to his feet and break not one, but two lines, to repel an almost certain goal in the last quarter - when we were under siege.

That was daring. It was audacious. In an instant, a heightened unbearable instant, McMahon turned desperate defense into full blooded attack.

That's what we want.

McMahon was awesome on the weekend. Why do we need to pump up Geelong players? I hate f-ckin' Geelong.

I'm a fan of Jordy's game. I think a lot of the negativity comes from the fact that people think we gave up too much to get him, which is probably true.

Woj in a heartbeat!

He is the spark in the Geelong backline. Coincidence that when the cats finished 10th he was sill recovering from an ACL reco? Methinks not!

He was dropped then recalled from the emergency list due to the late withdrawal of Stokes last week YBB. He's a borderline player at Geelong battling for a spot ATM, not a mainstay. I rate him about the same as McMahon, though they are different types of course, with McMahon certainly coming off second best defensively, but generally being more effective with the ball and getting more of it.

FWIW, if I could have anyone out of Geelong's back half it would be Taylor, the kid's a gem with his very sound defensive work and those beautiful raking 55m kicks he's producing more and more often to set up play. It's a struggle to come up with more than a select few key defenders in the last couple of decades who kick the ball as well as Taylor does.

With him the Cats have snagged another exceptional kid with a terrific mix of attributes.

LMAO!

Taylor ahead of Scarlett...you really have done it now!

Taylor has just turned 21 and has a huge future ahead of him.

Scarlett is 29 and increasingly injury prone you idiot pelican.

The more you post, the more you reinforce for everyone here the fact that your only talent is in making yourself look like the biggest clowntroll who ever touched a keyboard.

It is so easy to get a reaction from you!

You fall for it every time.
You didn't specify a timeframe and even if you did, flogjockey, then let's see who others would rather have.

:rolleyes:Taylor has done nothing yet compared to Scarlett so you assertion is based on potential .

Scarlett all day every day.
as usual mine is based on fact.

Thanks for removing the last microscopic doubt that you are here purely to troll.

The most amusing part of me ignoring your clowntroll stalking for weeks was that you posted three times as often, and got pwned by so many people other than me I lost count.

Or perhaps it's more amusing that if I place you on 'ignore' again (as I am doing following this post), I know without a shadow of a doubt the same thing will happen. You'll reload the dozens of threads where you drop a braindead bait comment in my direction hundreds of times waiting for a reaction.

'Look at me! Look at me! I'm a clowntroll - forcing as many people as possible to call me a clueless ____wit is the highlight of my life!'

ROFL

You didn't specify a timeframe...

Just when I thought you couldn't get any lamer, now you wriggle your way onto a magical time machine...desperately trying in vain to get out of being pwned yet again.

Once again razorflog just can't help himslef.

Little or no reference to the "argument" he put forward.
Just another tiresome personal attack on the snag.

Why don't we see who people would rather have, Scarlett or Taylor?

I think the timeframe question is relevent. Flog.
