Righteo, whats the story with people on this board continually putting Mcphee's name out and about when it comes to trades, retirements or delistings.
He will be in our top 5 this year - quite possibly top 3 for our best players through out the year.
I was absolutely livid when he was given the ass or traded to Essendon, and am working my lividity up yet again as people on this board keep mentioning his name, I simply dont understand it.

Please dont come back with "he has a good jet ski hire business in Vic" that is the biggest load of who gives a shit that I have ever heard.

I will give you the tip, RTB will be doing everything in his power to keep him here, he is another intergral cog in a fantastically functioning back line. Those that keep sprouting crap about him can STFU.
 
I agree he has been great this year, and a key part of our defense but his partner wants to head back so he probably will.

I think Carlton would be the perfect fit for him.
 
Settle down fella, I don't think many (if any) posters here actually want him to retire or be delisted or request a trade. Rather, as leeloo mentioned he has suggested this himself.

I used to be frustrated at McPhee but this year he has really improved a lot and has impressed me greatly.

Unfortunately though my understanding is he's suggested the trade himself so losing him will actually hurt a great deal :(

Please dont call me Fella, little buddy. I am simply sick of hearing his name come up. So I have created a thread to perhaps jog peoples minds that Mcphee is very much an important part of our team. If we are to play deep into the finals next year, we will need his type in the team.

No worries big buddy. I guess my point was that I (and most other posters) agree with you, no need to get the old lividity levels up. I would love to see McGee (as my lovely wife insists on calling him) stick around, but it might not be up to us.

Goddard is nothing like McPhee. Yes they play that half back 'sweeper' role but Adam continously puts his body on the line each and every 50-50 contest this year, and more often wins it. Goddard on the other hand has regularly been an outside player making the most of others good inside ball work. I'd suspect if McPhee does go, than perhaps spurr will play his role.

Spurr will need to work on his disposal and decision making. McPhee has been quite good in that department - and I love his little runs.

Look at McPhee's disposals for the 1st half of 2010. No reason that Spurr can't improve with a few AFL seasons under his belt. Plus when he does get those corridor kicks right they are a thing of beauty.

If you're so astute as to realize his improvement and his importance to Freo then surely if you read the posted article you'll also realize that bleating on about how much we should keep him and telling other to STFU about him leaving is going to no nothing except get everyone looking at you sideways. o_O
