Rabbits are nice, very tender. Quail (sp?) is nice too. If you go to a European market you can find a great variety of meat.

I'm very unadventurous when it come to food and could happily live on snags and rissoles. The only things I've tried out of the ordinary are haggis and venison (deer) sausages - once each.

As for all the exotic things mentioned, I'd rather starve.

Snags? Mystery Bags???? You don't know what's in them!!!

I 've eaten most of the 'weirder' meats mentioned above, but I haven't seen anyone mention HORSEys yet.

When on my honeymoon in Italy (Awww:D !), some (Italian) friends of ours took us to a 'Traditional' Roman restaurant (in Rome obviously) where the menu consists ONLY of 'Ancient Roman' fare. There were some pretty weird things going on in that place, and they suckered me into eating some of Phar Laps innards....!

Didn't taste too bad until they told me what it was!!!!:(
hehehe:p

Italian 'meats' are awesome!!!!

I will never forget laughing at my wife (who is not a big meat-eater in Oz), buying weird & wonderful (but tasty!) sausages from every deli throughout Italy!!!!:p :p :p
