Just heard on the news that he collapsed from exhaustion at a concert, I just hope that is all it is & that he is able to do his Tour here next year. :(

Get well soon Meat, I am so looking forward to your concert. :)

But a talented cheeseburger, anyway, he has lost heaps of weight since he first started, so he is more like a junior cheeseburger now. :D

yes,

beacause Meat is larger than life, this is only a minor setback and he will be well after some rest

Meat isn't as huge as he was in the 70's but we should acknowledge that this man was facing bankruptccy at one point after many lows that followed his peak that was bat out of hell, but he rebounded with back in to hell and a world wide hit and grammy.

I wish Meat well and he will put on a show but I hope he warms up right and wish him luck

People like Paul McCartney and Farnham can sing incredible ranges and hit every high note they were famed for under the sun non stop for 3 hours night after night but Meat will bounce back because he is Meat

Much like one of our longer-term female forum members, Meatloaf is an absolute comic genius. But in both cases, I don't think that they themselves have any awareness of this fact.

He was good in Fight Club too.

Farnham has a great range, but McCartney has a short range and rather limited. Great musician yes, but singer, no.

 What has that got to do with Meatloaf collapsing?

you obviously haven't heard the white album when he does a song like Helter Skelter and then something as soothing as I Will. That's range. He has a rocking voice, a ballad voice and it can still hit some high notes, not like farnham, but he still has range

If you want to hear range, get a hold of Tim Buckley's records, he s***s all over Farnham & McCartney, also is better than his son, I suggest you listen to his Sefronia album, the guy had the most awesome voice, shame he OD at 28. :(
