Not too bad ( compared to some of the muck Eddie Murphy's come out with the last few years. )

Tried to cater to adults AND kids which diluted the product a tad.

As someone who goes to the movies weekly on a tight-arse Tuesday and who is generally very easily amused, I can confidently say Meet Dave is a fairly terrible movie. Probably the least funny comedy i've seen since Chuck and Larry (dont think anything will ever beat that for comedies that simply aren't funny mind you)
