Sorry, nothing to do at all with footy but,

I am getting married in three weeks and wonder whether anyone knows any places to have photos that are UNDERCOVER or INDOORS. (incase it rains on the day)

I am sorry to ask it here, but I am desperate for help.

Thanks,
Mands...

Perhaps the area of Crown Casino with all the fountains and stuff. Looks awesome at night, and we went there on Deb night to get some pics.

Wedding photos

Thanks for the tip re: Colonial Stadium. Do you reckon the players would mind if we just waltzed onto the ground during the game???

Hitter, we have asked at Crown and the only way we can have them there, is if we stay at the hotel. The cheapest room they have to offer is $599. (A little too much for photos)

Slax, any building would be good. A building that takes a good shot. I like parliament house (inside) but dont like my chances of getting in there. I have also contacted Ormond College (at Melb uni - because of its archways and old architecture. ) We are open for any suggestions... If you know any at all, it would be great, then we could at least enquire about them. The wedding is on the 13th July (the only weekend in the AFL season, where Hawks play on Friday and the Swans (fiances team) plays on the Sunday. Very nice of the AFL for giving us a Saturday midseason.)

Thanks for suggestions

I've said it once, and I'll say it again... Why would anyone schedule a wedding during the football season?!?! :D

Seriously, best of luck for everything - if it still goes ahead after the Syd/Haw game!!!

Very smart though. Making plans in case it rains is the perfect way to ensure it DOESN'T rain.

You would have to ask Colonial's information center for that. Ring them during normal business hours and ask them about availability and policies.

Also, it never hurts to ask your photographer for advice. The one Jennifer and I had for our wedding back in February, he and his assistant knew every nook and cranny of the local landscape, including but not limited to Kardinia Park, where we had our reception (following the Cats' Wizard Cup win over Richmond, no less), and just having them plan out the picture-taking exercises took a lot of pressure off of us, and enabled us to relax and enjoy our wedding day. Granted, that happened in Geelong-- but if yours can't do the same in Melbourne, something must be wrong with them.

Hope this helps! And congratulations as well... :)

Cheers,
William
