Go Tigers ..you good things...Patrick Mills-you superstar...do yourself a favour and get down to the cage to watch Mills while he still here.

He's good and with Ubaka won the game for the Tigers but geez the Kings choked.

Mills isn't a great 3 point shooter so I would keep the powder dry a little bit. Let's see his stat line 10 games in.

The Tigers will be good to watch with Mills and Ubaka but geez they could have at least brought in one good big to give their back court something to work with.

I love Mills but for a PG (no matter what kind of PG you are) to register your first assist with 2 minutes to go in the game is just pathetic.

He shot well from deep though but he's definitely a chucker.

I was at the game and in fairness to Mills he did make some nice passes early to teammates that failed to convert. Cam Tragarth fumbled a Mills pass straight to the opposition a couple of times. And the Daniel Dillon alley oop attempt was a **** up

Speaking of point guards, it was good to see Aaron Bruce have a good game. He seems enthusiastic about basketball again, last year it was like he didn't give a shit. It would be good to see him get back to his college form where he looked like a first round draft pick. That block on Patty Mills followed by a coast-to-coast layup was nice!

Great start to the season and after a result like that you would hope that a lot of those people who packed out the cage will turn up again.

Mate, its his biggest asset in the NBA

Really I thought it was his speed and energy. Not a great 3 point shooter. Good technique but not reflective on the stats.

Three point percentages
NBA 35.8%
College 33.1%

Although I will say (and at the same time contradict myself) if he takes out the 2-3 stupid shots he takes every game he will be more likely to get close to the 40% mark which should be where he's at.

Needs to take more mid range shots too. That is his real strength.

Patty is a good 3 point shooter, he just takes too many of them. Shot selection is the issue

on past 2K games he has had a "3" icon at his feet which would suggest he can shoot the pumpkin. and i agree he does take silly shots.

also in terms of the percentages, 35.8% isnt all that bad, considering kobe's career 3 point percentage is 34.5%, jason kidd, who is 3rd all-time in 3 points made, has a career average of 34.8%. ray allen's isnt all that much higher at 39.9%.

Pat Mills can't run an offense and is a shooting guard in a point guards body. Damien Martin should be our point guard for Australia. 6'4 with size and superior passer and defender.

Very frustrating watching Mills shooting rubbish shots, while our big advantage is our Bigs.

If I see Mills taking "and one" shots while Bogut is the post, I will destroy my TV.

His college and international stats are probably a better judge considering he was playing a lot of minutes like he is now in the NBL.

In the NBA he comes on for a few minutes here or there so you could expect him to be a bit fresher ect and take smarter shots.

Harsh but at the moment true. His International performances have been really disappointing. He doesn't seem to be developing his game.

Not sure about Damien Martin starting for Aus. I think he's more of a bench type player.

I love Damien Martin, Gives it his all, Very solid Defensively wise.

Patty Mills will be a star, He just turns it over a bit too much, He's decent with the ball, He'll turn out a good player, probably a career backup point guard in the NBA

The International game is very different to the NBA game.

What Australia needs is a point guard who can get everybody involved in offense and get the ball to BOGUT. Not sure Mills have the attitude or maturity to do that.
