Everyone get behind Melon (J.Murnane) this week as he should get his 100 in the twos this week and what a week to get em to, against warra and in front of bergman haha burgers thought he was home haha serves him right for kicking 19 without an opponent.

Bergman should be stripped of those 19 goals. Surely against the spirit of the game to take advantage of a reserves team struggling for numbers just to get urself some individual glory at the seasons end.

No that is codswallop. Melon kicked eight to quarter time yes, but on an opponent. Had four on him at times throughout the 2nd half.
Melon is not as dirty as bergman....would not cash in on a poor struggling side who cannot field a full backline.

I was told by an Alvie ressies player that there was no opponent, he might have meant may as well not had any one. And you say Bergs cashes in on having to play against no backline. If you get served up a second string defence as a forward thats when you say party time, not sorry guys i'll go easy on you, Tea and scones all round!
