When someone takes on this project, historically they have disappeared into some weird X-Files black hole of death.

Stealth Bomber cowboyed up to finish the pics page, despite people begging him not to for the sake of his well-being. He did so anyway.

An exhausting search of Stealth's post from the beginning of the year shows him to be a reasonably prolific poster - contributing nearly every day with occasional gaps of a single day, and one gap of three days. 3 days happens to be the gestation period for a batch of sea monkeys, the keeping of which is a favorite hobby of displaced Nebraskan/Wisconsinite/Essendon supporters.

Now though, he has gone missing for a full five days. Sea monkeys cannot explain theis. He may very well have been sucked into a highly mysterious extra-dimensional space. The Bombers are still in the upper 8 on the ladder at the moment, so he isn't hiding under his bed (a popular rumor). Yup, he's been abducted by aliens. Who's next to do the BF photo page?

I think you just want to be abducted by aliens. Bad idea. Alien chicks have no breasts and you don't get to bed'em. Instead they stick sharp objects up your ass.

I'm around, though I knew as soon as I stopped posting for a couple of days that people would start to wonder about my well-being.

Fear not, I'm alive and well, and am making good progress on the design of the site. I just haven't decided on contents yet.

Does everyone think there should be special profiles/comments in addition to pictures, or is everyone happy with just photos?

I think that there should be a poll on this option, Stealth. I wouldn't mind having the photo and the profile in it.
 
Just do it whichever way you think best. If you start a poll it'll be never-ending and there still won't be a consensus.
 
I suppose you could do it like a family tree thing.

Bluey and Groves at the top. The next branch shows the mods followed by the team photos.
Down the bottom, you could have the banned members, trolls, misfits and pies.:)

Good idea though, seriously. Could you make the teams in rows in accordance to how the ladder is structured after each weekend? I don't know jack about web design, but it seems if you bunched photos into groups, you could arrange it so that the eventual surviving administrator could cut and paste the groups each new week?

After the Finals it sticks until the following season?

just keep it simple mate. sure there are a million and one things that you can put into the site but it just means that it will take longer to biuld. get something up and live and then you can worry about making improvements.

Lioness with that attitude especially as you participate in a lot of chat rooms i'm surprised your haven't been hunted down by internet sickos

real name, location...c'mon. Sure most ppl on here know already so its no big deal to anyone from bigfooty but anyone else can access this page.

I don't participate in a lot of chat rooms I go to one, and surprisingly I let everyone know my name. Mainly because 90% of the people I chat with are people I have known for over a year and half of whom I know off the net.

And Spidey I would honestly be shocked if anyone managed to track down 'Jacs from Melbourne'. :rolleyes:

I'm cautious yes but not totally paranoid. :)
