I live in Melbourne so currently have opted for an AFL membership rather than Geelong membership, as it allows me to go to non Geelong games with friends.

Not to get too ahead of myself but with the way we're traveling we seem a chance to make a GF appearance. My AFL membership doesn't afford me the ability to get GF tickets, so I was thinking of buying a Geelong membership in addition to the AFL membership. What are my chances of getting tickets (if we are to compete) if I have a "priority 3" membership? It's the cheaper option but I guess I would consider a "priority 2" membership if there's no chance of getting tickets with priority 3.

Thanks for the help!

Which AFL membership do you have?

Gold gives a near 100% certainty that if the cats play, you'll get a GF seat.
Silver you're a 50/50 chance
Bronze don't think it gives access to finals at all.

The club sees all AFL members as Geelong FC members as well if you have nominated Geelong as your club through the AFL.

The club sells a priority 1 membership for $200 (guaranteed access), but I believe you need to already have a reserved seat (home, home + away or melbourne). Ring them/Go into the club and see what they can do for you here as an AFL member.
