Membership Rip Off

Still pissed that ledgends members have to apply for a ticket at Marvel. If, as the club stated " members dont like going to Marvel" then give me the option to reduce my membership by 3 games, then go ahead and sell those seats to whoever you want. Clubs love to claim they are for the members, yet members are screwed at every opportunity.

They put their prices up and then took away the privileges that we had. I got a Legends membership 20+ years ago so I didn't have to stuff around booking tickets. I just want to show up and sit down in my seat. I'd be happy to just have an MCG Legends membership, but they took that away too.

I booked my tickets for all three games at Marvel last year but only went to one of the games. I've already paid for the ticket, why should they make further money from it?

Are the St Kilda v Collingwood Members Redemption tickets on sale now or not? Ticketmaster is saying they are, but Collingwood's email said not til later in the year...

The problem was people with reserved seats for Marvel games just weren't turning up. The stadium was technically sold out yet a crowd of 35k would be announced.

The sale is just for the North game. If you enter your barcode for the Saints game it won't accept it.

If we choose not to go to a MCG game, we can sell the seat back to the club and we are given a credit. its a bit rich of the club to sell a seat twice and not credit you back.

I was only able to get level 3 too. Not my favorite level but they're smack back on centre wing and only a few rows from the front.

If rather wait til tomorrows general sale and pay in see if they release lower decks than sit on level 3
There is no way the pies end on level 1 was sold that quick. Ticketmaster is just playing games

There seems to be quite a few people buying tickets for Collingwood/Carlton who are not Collingwood or Carlton supporters so... maybe that's sucking up some of the good tickets. Bit frustrating if you ask me, but what can you do.

I'm an MCC member (+Pies member) and it frustrates the living hell out of me when I struggle to get decent seats, meanwhile someone gets tickets on level one with their 4+ guests who don't support either team

You mean MCC +4 guests? I feel like they only allow that at games with a low grading. Coll vs Carlton would only be allowed 2 guests max right?

Sure, but I've already paid for my seat. If I don't redeem my ticket the club doesn't refund my money like they do for MCG games. Instead they sell it for a 2nd time. They're double dipping.

Bullcrap. When has a Pies game not been well attended? Usually when opositin fans dont show up. When we play the bulldogs or north, its always their members seats that are empty.
Where was my email asking me if i wanted to give up my seats? Nothing from the club but some flog looking at how they can make more $ from the members. What about those elderly members who used to sit comfortably on level 1 but now could get seats in row Z on level 3?

This happened North V Pies last year at marvel. Collingwood and GA sections totally sold out and Norths entire member areas on level 1 and 2 totally empty...

Yep, Coll v Carlton is category 1 so only 2 guests.

Though I remember that the 2023 prelim they were allowing 4+ guests for that game. I get it was GWS though I know full members who didn't get a reserved seat.

For the record, I wasn't complaining after the game

I managed to get Gold AFL Member tickets for the Carlton and Port games

I really wish they’d apply the Grand Final rules all year round.
