How much of a difference do you think this season will make to our membership numbers?

The Swans Melbourne manager has been quoted in saying his aim is to get 10,000 Melbourne paid up members. Now wouldn't that be amazing! Melbourne would become our home away from home (if it isn't already!)

What about the numbers in Sydney?

I think if we have a decent start to the season, we may have quite a few jump on the bandwagon!

Apparently there were between 4000-5000 at the Swans family day in melbourne...so all goes well for a membership boost down here...it already is a home away from home...and the swans supporters in melbourne are very passionate

the underlying problem for melbourne members is that we only get 5 games...and one of those is in geelong...still there was some chance we might have only got 4 if collingwood had their wish to play their home game against us in sydney

there have been some good initiatives by the club - free caps for all members, the premiership club, another option where you can go to one game in sydney too, etc. so hopefully there are few more options and incentives for people to join...and last years effort wont hurt a bit

I know alot of people have high expectations this year...some say that anything less that a GF appearance will be disappointing. For me I will be happy with a finals appearance where we arent just making up the numbers...and then anything more than that will be a bonus

The Swans play excting football under Roos...with the attacking play of guys like Barry and Kennelly...and the excitement of Goodes, Hall, O'Loughlin, Schneider etc

Great to watch...great to be at the game...great to be a member and be part of the success
