So the afl memberships twitter account tweeted that all members are required to have their membership with them, my question is that im not a member but my mate is, and he used his membership to purchase both our tickets, now will his membership cover both the tickets? am i in the clear basically

You'll be fine, just stay away from any officials with clipboards

As long as your ticket is a guest pass then yeah you're in the clear.

Isn't it because the actual member's ticket is discounted?

BTW, do you mean club or AFL membership?
