Memberships

[DEES RULE!]

I got my membership application thingi today (thats two Melbourne mags in two days! ) as im sure the rest of you did.
Im not too happy about the increase in the membership fees but i guess there is nothing much we can do about it, after all it is going towards better grounds for us!
Anyways i was wondering if you are planning on getting a membership this year and if you are which membership will you be getting?

I'm sticking to my general membership with the extra red seat access. I really wanted red legs but not only is it over $200 the waiting list is longer than my life story (and thats pretty damn long ) so i decided to stick to my general which is pretty good and still around $165 including the red seat option.

well i got an email from them about the price increases, cos i have to upgrade (cos i no longer qualify for concession ) and soo umm yeah. Ill probably get general membership. and i have been put on the waiting lists for Captains club and Legends. and i think Redlegs....She said there was a possibility of getting Captains Club next season. YAY!

And im also involved with the running of the supporters group next year so i get loads of freebies.

Got my renewal from Dees and Saints today (postie must think im crazy) ...both general 11 adults r 130 bucks GRHHHH increase ah well we at least get the round 1 game against hawks free and so we should coz the first 6 or somethin were away games so there JOSEPH u can't say they are ripping us off with that now so yeh i will be gettin the 11 gamer it sux not gettin concession otherwise id get an added on thing like reserved seats or cheersquad or somethin but oh well i am gettin 5 membs this year so spending more than my fair share $$$ i think!

how old must ya be to get a consession?
yeah, i got mine, i think i might just a gret a gerneral, even though me and or have been on the redlegs waiting list for over a yr!!
also, is the only reason for a cost increase coz of the mcg fixing up thingy??

as long as u have a valid concession card. (student id) u cna get concession. you would qualify mish, cos u r still a student. It has to be a full time card as well. i am 99.9999999999999% sure u qualify.


and i dont think the price increase is cos of the mcg renovations.

so like even a school card would help?? thats maad! but then howcome the afl prices to get into a match go up afer 15 yrs, yet a consession is 18 (or student) for the mfc?

well i have old school cards that i still get away with usin at the VFL games but with the AFL i wouldnt bother because think about when finals time comes and tickemaster r soooo bloody tight that if i went up to get finals tickets on a concession membership and didn't have a proper concession card well knowin them they wouldnt let me buy a ticket!

I will probably stick to what I had this year, the MFC/MCC Supporter package at $45. Although I might splash out and by the MFC/MCC Full Membership. $130 which does not get me much but the money goes to the Club.

well my membership is put on hold til the at least feb maybe......after receiving a $165 fine from the police....GRRRRRRR now im gonna have to work double shift to pay it off.

Membership = Seasons ticket

But, with our memberships we get the oppurtunity to vote as well. But, this usually counts for nothing because most people are mislead by lies that are usually spread through the media

A concession is usually for students and people who are unemployed or pensioners. You'll usually need a student card or pensioner card for proof cos Its generally a cheaper ticket.

Longboysfan, who do you barrack for? I see your from the US. How did you find out about Aussie Rules?

More than likely Which is the more than you can say. From what I haveread on Demonology, you WILL NOT buy one if Joe is not back in. Have you since reconsidered??
