Like meg, I haven't wagged a whole day of school. Just a few periods. The year 12's had their muck up day last year and they ditching water bombs filled with ... I don't know what! So me and my friends got all paranoid and left, even though it was pouring down with rain!

The thing is, at my school it is very difficult to wag. They call the roll before classes in contact and then at the start of all 6 periods. Then if you wag, about 4 days later you get a letter sent home to your folks asking where you were for a few lessons that day!

Damn them. My dad tells me stories about when he would always wag history last period on a Wednesday and go down to the lake with his mates. Sounds good to me.

It was a beautiful Friday - straight out of 'Ferris Buehlers Day Off.' A friend of mine and I wanted to take off in the middle of the day and catch the opening of a new movie (couldn't wait until after school).

We asked the Principal if we could leave, and he said, "No." We told him we were leaving anyway. He told us we could do what we wanted, but that there were consequences to our actions. Good enough, off we went.

Snuck over to the car pool. A guy we knew had a pass to where he only went to school half a day, and we decided to hitch a ride with him. Hid in the back of his truck under a large piece of dusty, smelly canvas. Got past the truancy/security guard. Enjoyed the movie.

The following Monday, the Prinicipal had us in his office. Gave us 5 double 8th hours. That is, holding over for detention two hours a night Monday through Friday. Geez.

Mooster had a plan. Each afternoon a different teacher got assigned '8th hour duty' on a rotation. Never the same teacher two nights in a row.

HERE'S WHERE IT GETS BRILLIANT ON MY PART

I had this spray bottle of Binaca. Don't know if you have that, but it is essentially a really strong mint squirty breath stuff. Anyway, each afternoon after roll call (and after I was in the books as having been present for full detention) I would shoot this Binaca up my nose. Dried everything up, and gave me a terrible nose bleed. The teacher would freak out, order me off to the nurses station, and I'd head for the buses.

Did that five afternoons in a row, and was home at the usual time all week. Peace,

Wagging school is both immoral and immature. I am disappointed in you all.

I hope this is a sarcastic comment and you are not some person trying to preach to us wot is right and wrong...
