I somehow thought it would be 3am footage of me refueling my 4WD at a northern territory petrol station and looking dodgy... phew.

Yeah lets hope the melees come back this week.

One thing (of many) that I really enjoyed from that vid was Clive just being Clive, running into goal without an Eagle in sight and spraying it out on the full (God bless you Clive, I miss you) and then being pushed around by Glen Jakovich soon after. Enter a teenaged Leigh Brown. No Mr Jakovich, that ain't gunna fly, you freakin' neanderthal. The Anvil was fresh into the AFL, just a boy, up against Slappo, a seasoned campaigner and massive unit. Did he take a backward step? Hell no! He was up in Slappo's face letting him know exactly how much of a cheesedick he is and forever will be. I like to think he even made Slappo think twice about what he was doing. Never mind that Clive had pretty much earned his treatment (I do realise and cherish the memory that he performed amazing feats of footballing magic at pretty much every other opportunity he had that day). The thing I loved about Leigh Brown was best summed up by our own estibador on one occasion some time ago... he stood up for Freo when there was very little to stand up for. That's why I will never, ever bag the bloke, despite the fact that he never really delivered on his potential.

Was glad to see Hase tried to start something grinding Cox's head into the ground. You could see he was doing it on purpose and didn't care about the 50m penalty either, good stuff.
