Surely you start with Collingwood beating Carlton in a Grand Final

We were besties once and cheered each other on in games against the richer clubs. When Collingwood was one game short of being accepted into the league it was our best bud Carlton that stepped up and arranged a game with us so we could qualify... and then

The bloodbath of 1910: History paints us as the villains with our player starting the brawl and copping an 18 month ban along with the Carlton retaliator. In the aftermath another Collingwood player came forward to say he started the brawl. The VFL decided to let both Collingwood players off while the 18 month ban for the Carlton player stood. The Carlton president incensed swore a club oath announcing Carlton would never lose another Grand Final to Collingwood, and over the next 115 years and 5 Grand Finals he's been true to his word.

Pies defend the Machine Teams record of 4 flags in a row against the Melbourne Superteam, it ironically forged more hatred from Carlton thanks to Barassi never forgiving our tactics of whacking every player on the ground at the start of the game, then laser focusing on football while the team of Supermen from Melbourne rattled themselves trying to retaliate, the mighty Demons would have won 6 flags in a row if not for Phonse Kyne and his 'Kill for Collingwood' rank outsiders of 58.

One from the modern era.

This was a huge moment for me. I was too young to remember 1990 properly.

Watched through 7 seasons of drought from finals, a wooden spoon, and our Tony Shaw era until we finally made finals again.

Then we did this!! I remember jumping up onto my bed in joy at the fact we made the prelim!

Pretty impressive they are doing it from the top of the ladder

Did you mean 2003, FJ, or 2023? The MCG capacity was reduced in 2003, and the official figure was well short of that (79,451). In 2023 the crowd was 100,024, and obviously that's about all it can hold these days: https://afltables.com/afl/teams/allteams/gfgames.html
