Looks very nice. :thumbsu:
This has got me in the mood to play Metro 2033 again. Got about an hour through it but then just stopped.

Look for more info at E3.

I was expecting news for it at e3, i have 2033 sitting ready to go someday.

REALLY creepy trailer, very cool.

I had been looking forward to Metro 2033 for ages, then of course it wasn't brought out on PS3 despite being completely developed for it...

However this is looking like it'll fix the issues from 2033 and be adding even more, also gonna have MP, which I guess could have some awesome atmosphere if they play it right (hopefully something as innovative as FEAR 3's new MP modes).

Metro 2033 was ordinary. It was just slow and boring in too many parts. Definitely had its creepy moments though, but overall was a huge let down IMO.

I really hope they don't mess with the gunplay too much. I know its slow, and clunky, but, I feel like the weighty feeling that is achieved in games like Metro and Cryostasis worked so much better than just gimping your movement like in Killzone 2. It's more STALKER than CoD, and that's a good thing that should be kept, imo

It also made firefights long, drawn out and extremely intense. The only thing I really want them to do is fix the difficulty spikes from the first (those green blobs were arseholes of the highest order) and really fix up the stealth. The stealth was borked and the game could have been a fair bit better if it actually worked.

then of course it wasn't brought out on PS3 despite being completely developed for it...

Lets not even pretend this is true HBK.

Anyway, Metro 2033 was an amazing game. Probably the best atmostphere I've seen in any game and the story and animations were top notch. Playing on maxed out settings is something you have to see yourself. Just phenominal.

Here's the first game summed up if you haven't played it :D.

Maybe not completely, but it was developed on the PS3 enough that they could've continued it...

2nd part to the previous gameplay trailer.

Nicely atmospheric and creepy.

It won't look anything like that on PS3 though.
So? The atmosphere will clearly remain and that's all I care about.

Confirmed for PS4, 5 DLC packs planned and they're also planning on releasing the dev kit.

Have also said a MP spin off will be releasing separately as well.

Metro: Last Light has gone Gold, and it seems that 4A Games and Deep Silver have big plans for this new Metro game. According to an interview with the Ukrainian tech website itcchannel, Metro: Last Light will be coming to PS4 and a multiplayer game based on Metro: Last Light will be released as a separate title.

According to 4A Games, an SDK for Metro: Last Light may get released. This will be amazing – in case it happens – as it will bring lots of mods to this new Metro title, something that a lot of our readers have been asking for.

4A Games also confirmed that Metro: Last Light will receive five DLCs. Naturally, it is said that development in these DLCs started after the completion of the base game. These five DLCs will be different story missions from the point of view of other characters.

As we said earlier, the multiplayer mode of Metro: Last Light will be released as a separate game. It is said that Deep Silver and 4A Games plan to release this standalone MP game at least half a year after the release of Metro: Last Light.

4A Games also hinted at a Season Pass, though it has not confirmed it yet.
